Handling Device for Sheet Metal Packages

The handling device for sheet-metal is designed for use with one or two crane hooks.
The device is lowered with a crane onto a sheet-metal package. The package is
then taken by the device using its air-driven arms. Depending on the delivery
form of the packages, wood pallets and packaging gear may have to be removed
before the packages are transported by a crane. The sheet-metal packages are then inserted in storage and production solutions.
Additional handling operations of sheet-metal can easily be undertaken, for example
restacking sheet-metal in order to stack old metal on new plates or exact positioning of the
plates for smooth and fast charging of production machines (e.g. laser cutting machines).
